Diane Dennis
"As a self-educated needle artist, I am always expressing myself with some form of needlework having done so for most of my life. I consider my style of beadwork jewelry a form of wearable art and it is a very satisfying form of self-expression. Color and texture have always fascinated and inspired me. I have a bead stash that I constantly adding to for inspiration. I purchase items that catch my eye, and they might sit until a vision for a piece comes. I then pull all items together and bead! I work in a combination of ways, from a sketch or I just bead freeform."

Diane has been published in Beadwork and Bead and Button magazines.

Amy Katz has been part of the world of seed beads since 1993 as a student, teacher, and designer. She has always admired and loved high-end jewelry. Several years ago when she began designing her own beadwork pieces, Amy made the decision to give them a fine jewelry look using seed beads, crystals, pearls, and other fine materials. Using imagination, this vision has come to life as her signature style. Amy is currently teaching locally and nationally, including the Bead & Button Show and Bead Fest Philadelphia. She is also the co-editor of Beading Across America (Kalmbach Publishing), which will be released in spring 2011.
