• Beginning Cabochon Setting Kit #1

The cabochon in Kit #1 is Mexican crazy lace agate. This stone varies quite a bit, so I've included a few pictures of what you might get in your kit. Click on the link above, and then click on the photo.

Learn how to set this cabochon using beads. Included in the kit are the following: instructions, three sizes of beads, one 40 x 30 mm oval cabochon, two pieces of synthetic suede, one piece of Lacey's Stiff Stuff, two beading needles, and thread. Not included in the kit but necessary for the completion of the project is glue, such as E6000, or double-sided bead tape (the latter of which is available in the Notions catalog on this Web site). You should also have on hand a thread conditioner, such as Thread Heaven or microcrystaline, also found in the Notions catalog (or you can use beeswax).
